The Flower School

The Flower School was set up by Hans in 2019 to share the beauty of flowers and the joy of limitless creativity in contemporary floral design.

Hans provides all the super-fresh and often unusual flowers and greenery, sundries and use of equipment to make things super easy for you – all you need to do is purchase and attend the workshop.

Hans teaches step-by-step to facilitate all levels of experience – so there is no need to worry if you have none or little previous experience!

Enjoyment is at the heart of all the workshops and courses on offer at the Flower School, so a cup of tea/coffee and a chat sets everyone up for an enjoyable and creative experience.

All the flowers and materials are set up ready for you on the tables. Hans always starts with an introduction to the arrangement and a run-through of all the flowers, greenery and materials you will use. He will then demonstrate the arrangement step-by-step, clearly explaining basic ‘rules’ (guidelines) to allow you to create your own stunning arrangement. He will also give 1-2-1 guidance throughout the workshop and always provides lots of professional hints and tips on how to look after and get the maximum enjoyment from your flowers.

The workshops and courses are always varied in design ideas, techniques and flower choices.

There is free private parking on site next to the school – signs will guide you on arrival.

The Flower School is located in the beautiful village of Twyning and is easily accessible (5 mins.) from the M5 (junction 8) and the M50 (junction 1). It is just 20 minutes from Cheltenham, Gloucester and Worcester.
